ER_Succession Plans Should Include Actual Calendar Dates (Doc ID 1957583.1)

Goal

The current measure of when an incumbent will leave a Succession Plan (SP) is the field Estimated Remaining Months. This field does not meet needs - for multiple reasons. The client has a mandatory retirement age of 60 - so the retirement date is a key date that will often be the expected end date for that incumbent. Also government regulations require mandatory rotation of incumbents in audit functions - for which a specific date is required. So if an incumbent was in an audit function the Expected end date would need to be the calendar date when they are required to rotate to a new role. For compliance the business is required to report on these dates. Not having a calendar date available to tie to a succession plan incumbent means the Fusion succession planning module does not meet the mandatory business and regulatory requirements to which the client is accountable.
