On Synchronization

"Database Disk Image is Malformed" error received during Outlook sync

Logs show:

One of our users today reported getting an internal error when attempting to synchronize Outlook with Sales Cloud. The actual error message shown is "Database Disk Image is Malformed". General logs show Outlook shutdown during sync running on 4-May at 19:56 and next sync started showing the above error

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run sync
