How to Configure OSN for Inviting External Guest Users or Employees with Different Email Domain Address (Doc ID 1967518.1)

Last updated on APRIL 07, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Social Network Cloud Service - Version 11.1.9.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

By default, only users configured as regular FA employees and with the company's domain email address have access to Oracle Social Network (OSN).

This document helps administrators to configure OSN to include external domains in a whitelist so that users from external domains can be invited to OSN conversations as guest users and / or outside users (Release 10 and higher). Also, follow these steps if you have users configured as regular FA users having a different email domain than the company's domain.

This document is applicable for OSN release 9 and later.
