Fusion Applications OBIEE : How to remove Datawarehouse-based BI content from the Fusion Application ? (Doc ID 1982928.1)

In previous releases of the Fusion Application users were able to access BI content which would not run correctly if the environment was Cloud-based. This was as a result of the analyses and dashboards being based on content in a Data Warehouse which was not available in the Cloud. As a result users would see errors if they inadvertently accessed this content.

Later patch bundles for Release 8 removed access to this content in the BI Catalog by removing privileges for this content for all users except for the BI Administrator.

This prevents the user from accessing the content in the BI Catalog or from seeing it when browsing in Reports & Analytics but there are still a number of seeded Fusion Applications pages which attempt to access this content.

When either the Assets Business Intelligence, Payables Business Intelligence, or Profitability Business Intelligence tabs are accessed an error similar to the following will appear :
