ANC-3405066 Error Raised When Running Calculate Accrual and Balances Process After Change To Absence Plan Setup (Doc ID 1983505.1)

Symptoms

The setup of an absence plan was changed from a monthly repeating period to a yearly repeating period. When the Calculate Accruals and Balances process is run, it fails with the following error:


ANC_PAY_INTERFACE_ERROR: ANC-3405066Payment information could not be transferred for payroll processing. Contact your administrator.Inform your administrator that an error was received during transfer of payment information. Person {PERSON_NAME}. Absence plan {PLAN}. Effective date {EFFECTIVE_DATE}. Payroll processing error {ERROR}. --AccrualAMImpl


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1  Change the  setup for the current Absence Plan: FROM Incremental, Monthly with Start date:01/10/1951 - End Date 21/31/2014 TO Front loaded, Yearly, with Start date:01/01/2015 - End date: null
2. Run Calculate Accrual and Balances process, which completes in Error.
