Emails Cannot Be Shared When Located In A Local Directory

Qn1:Our customer is using Sales Cloud for Outlook.
He has created a new datafile "My private Directories" in Outlook > Account Settings and a new folder "Account1" in this new datafile.
The new datafile "My private Directories" is a local file.
Then he has moved one email already shared and one email not shared into this new folder "Account1".
When he has opened the already shared email, he noticed that this email is not shared anymore and that the "Shared With Sales Cloud" window is not visible anymore.
When he has opened the not shared email, he noticed that the "Shared With Sales Cloud" window is not visible anymore.
So it seems that the ability of sharing email is only available with emails located directly in Inbox folder or in Inbox sub-folders.
Is it possible to have the ability of sharing email with emails located in a local datafile?
