Goal

Q:
Can we submit the following Enhancement Request: Spouse Life should not Allow Spouse as beneficiary.

Currently the Plan Type of Spouse voluntary life allows you to have a spouse as the primary beneficiary and there is currently no way that we are aware of a way to limit the beneficiaries by contact type. We are requesting that this be an ability in a future release.
The system just allows employees to elect something that doesn't make any sense and could cause issues down the road.

Electing Spouse Voluntary Life, asks for a beneficiary, you can select the spouse a beneficiary for their own voluntary life plan.
