Fusion ACH Payment File Transmission Using SFTP Protocol Fails With Authentication Error (Doc ID 1996384.1)

Symptoms

Payment file transmission to bank is failing. Log shows the following error:

oracle.apps.financials.payments.sharedSetup.transmissions.publicModel.util.SecureFTPPutFunction@ca1234::public key authentication
oracle.apps.financials.payments.sharedSetup.transmissions.publicModel.util.SecureFTPPutFunction@ca1234::final remote file name=abc.txt
oracle.apps.financials.payments.sharedSetup.transmissions.publicModel.util.SecureFTPPutFunction@ca1234::sending file
oracle.apps.financials.payments.sharedSetup.transmissions.publicModel.util.SecureFTPPutFunction@ca1234::oracle.xdo.delivery.DeliveryException: oracle.xdo.delivery.ssh2.userauth.SSHAuthenticationException: Exception occured in passwd auth
