Goal

Adding optional line items to the quote line items when using the configuration module, is a simple process.  However, when this module is not implemented, administrators and sales reps using Optional Line Items will need to become familiar with the Manage Line Items feature.  Managing line items is the tool that allows the sales rep to select items from the Optional Line Item list and promote them to the Quote Line Item list. It also works in the reverse, allowing quote line items to be pushed to the optional list - this article outlines this process.
