Customer is mainly concerned by the fact this 9 box rating doesn't seem to be stored anywhere (it seems to be a derived rating), and by the fact most self-service screens show the Performance and Potential rating but never the 9 box rating (which is frustrating, since the 9 box rating is an important output of the talent review process)
