When attempting to delete a lead in Simplified UI, the following error occurs.

You do not have the required permission to take this action. You can request that your help desk change your security settings.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. In Simplified UI, navigate to the Leads application
2. Open an existing lead
3. Click on the Actions menu and select Delete
