The customers (acount objects) have to be linked to an owner (Employee resource object) during their impotation.
For that, we used the SalesProfile.OwnerOrigSystem and SalesProfile.OwnerOrigSystemReference in the account object importation mapping in order to perform the linkage via the user origin system ids.
As prerequisite before to import the account objects, the employee resources have of course to be imported with their origin system ids in the ResourceProfile.PartyOrigSystem and the ResourceProfile.PartyOrigSystemRef. But unfortunatly the import job ends at the "Completed with errors" status without any error message provided. Nevertheless the user has been created but we cannot check if the OS and OSR fields have been correctly filled since there are not visible through the UI.
Import Activity Identifier 300000003201813
So we have exported the employee resource objects to check if the user was created correctly but the OSR field was not filled as expected. To be sure that we had checked the right field we have also performed an other account import test to try to link an account to the employee just created. The error message is the following :
1,300000003203178,300000003203182,ERROR,"A matching record of type RESOURCE cannot be found using the value of the attributes Owner_Source_System_Ref and Owner_Source_System_Ref that you provided. (MKT-285226) Cause: No record exists with the specified user key value. Action: Verify that the record with the specified user key exists. If it does not exist, then remove the record from the data file, or update the record with a valid user key.",
Import Activity Identifier 300000003203178
We are now sure that the employee's OS and OSR fields have not been filled correctly during the importation.
- What are the employee resource object fields corresponding to the SalesProfile.OwnerOrigSystem and SalesProfile.OwnerOrigSystemReference fields of the account object ?
- what is the issue we face during employee import ?
