Goal

Compensation History does not take into account Currency Daily Rates

User facing issues in the Compensation History button option, under the Compensation Plan.

When opening the Compensation History button option, and the Currency filter is set to ‘Worker local currency’, all information is shown in the local currency (which is totally correct). For instance, if they open the compensation history for someone working in Japan all the past years information are displayed in Yen.

However, if they change the Currency filter to ‘EUR-Euro’, and afterwards click the Compensation History button, all information is displayed in Euro (€), taking into account the currency rates defined in “Currency Daily Rates” functionality. The problem is that all the currency rates are defined at 2014-MARCH-01 and they don’t have currency rates defined for the years 2013, 2012, 2011, and 2010.

Therefore, they are assuming that the information displayed in the years when no currency rates exist is wrong.

Moreover, there is an information message in Compensation History’s screen: “Rates are as of December 31 of the noted year except current year”.
