We have configured Currency Conversion for both USD to MXN and MXN to USD. Then enabled Multi currency option in Opportunity Profiles. Then we tried to drilldown on existing record and change the currency to MXN from USD. Value present in estimated Revenue field(Custom) at opportunity didnt change but OOB Field Total Revenue value changed. Business is expecting to have consistency in currency fields displayed under Opportunity. Need to understand why there is inconsistency in the same type of fields and also how can we achieve this requirement?
Customer is expecting a custom currency field in Opportunity header, to automatically change the value based to daily conversion rate, when then change the currency form A to B like out the box file Total Revenue value changed.
Is this correct expectation?
If yes, then why its not working for customer.
If no, what the suggestion / solution for customer.
