Automated Task Does Not Delete Candidate with a Transitions Process (Doc ID 2020689.1)

Symptoms

An Automated Task to permanently delete candidate(s) lists candidate(s) as though they will be processed if the Count button is selected, but when the task runs the candidate is not deleted as expected. The task history does not show error, but there is a count under Not Processed.

The Candidate may not be available in the task "Delete candidate files; all data can later be restored (system task)" to be restored.
