This article shows how to prevent a form from updating a contact record if the form has already been previously submitted.
A sample use case would be a one-time promotional offer based on a contact's birthday. The promotion might contain a link to update an incorrect birthdate. The solution below would prevent contacts from repeatedly submitting the form to update their birthday in order to access the offer more than once.
