How To Change Owner of Accounts and Opportunities Through File Import (Doc ID 2025688.1)

Goal

We have a use case to transfer ownership of hundreds of accounts at a time from one account manager to another. I can change the owner via file import by importing a file with the Account's Party number and the new owner's resource ID mapped to Salesprofile_OwnerPartyID.

However, the effect of this is only to add the new owner- we would also like to remove the previous owner. As is, the previous owner remains assigned as a team member. How can I add the new owner and remove the previous owner, for Accounts and Opportunities, via File Import?
