How do we handle cases using benefits enrollment upload where the employee is hired in the current year and adds dependents later in the current year?
All employees hired before 1-Jan-2015 and contacts added before 1-Jan-2015 can be enrolled into benefits from 1-Jan-2015 using
benefit enrollment upload.
Example: Employee hired on 1-Mar-2015 and is enrolled in employee only option.So, the enrollment coverage and rate should start from 1-Mar-2015. Now employee gets married on 15-Jun-2015 and enrolls in Employee + Spouse option.So enrollment coverage should start from 15-Jun-2015. Another scenario is employee hired before current year (1-Jan-2005) while contact is added in the current year. Based on the option that employee is enrolled into the enrollment coverage and rate should effectively start from that date. How do we setup the coverage, rate , effective date and life event dates for benefits enrollment upload in these scenarios as the dates are differing.
