NOT ABLE TO TRANSFER ESS JOB OUTPUT TO UCM (Doc ID 2028919.1)

Symptoms

The ESS job output is not downloaded so developers can not upload the information to UCM when invoking an ESS job webservice.

The sample seeded Job run was : Payables Invoice Register . Developers also tried with custom jobs without success.

 
Users expect job output to be in UCM and to transfer log and output files from job requests using the following api's:

1. Transfer the data file to a product account on the UCM server - API uploadFiletoUCM.
2. Download out/log file associated with Ess process - API downloadESSJobExecutionDetails.
3. Get the status of the ESS process - API getESSJobStatus.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. WSDL: https://<host>:<domain>:<port>/finFunShared/FinancialUtilService?wsdl
Operation: API downloadESSJobExecutionDetails
Operation Description:
Downloads the ESS job output and the logs as a zip file.Active

 
  
Due to this issue, users cannot automate the submission of a job request via a web service to upload request *.out files to UCM. Only log files can be retrieved via the web service operation.
