BICS: System Session Variables in Filter Expression Returns Error: “Object "NQ_SESSION.USER" cannot be found” (Doc ID 2030322.1)

Symptoms

When filtering by Data Security Filters (e.g. via the Menu: Data Filters > Filter Expression), a system session variable is not able to be used in the Filter Expression.

        Example: "Customers"."Cust Name" = VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION."USER") or
                       "Customers"."Cust Name" = VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.USER)

 This returns an error message:

       “[Object "NQ_SESSION.USER" cannot be found]”
