Last updated on DECEMBER 15, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

If anything is updated on the configuration side and users are using Favorites to store pre-configured models, updating or reconfiguring the favorite models is needed. Once this takes place and the model is saved back to Favorites, the sequence of the model within Favorites does not match the sequence in Config.

  1. Create a quote and Add Line Items.

  2. Configure a model and check the Mandatory Parts pane and note the sequence of parts: 10A, 11A, 12A, 13A, 14A, 15A.

  3. Add the model to the quote and check the Line Item Grid

  4. Add the model to Favorites and check again the sequence of parts.

Note: At this point, Config, Commerce, and Favorites all have the same sequence of parts which is the expected behavior.
  5. Run Update List (see Changes for the steps).

  6. In Favorites, click the Model and reconfigure. Note the sequence of parts in config matches the sequence in step 2.

  7. Save back to Favorites. Sequence is now different than in Config.

  8. (Optional) Add the Favorite to a quote, sequence is still different than in Config.

Run Favorite List Update The steps are as follows:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Favorite List under General section
  2. Click Select All for Flag Equipment and Parts for Reconfiguration and click Update Flags.

  3. Click Schedule Favorites List Update.
