Information in this document applies to any platform.
When first accessing a newly provisioned Taleo Enterprise Edition (TEE) zone, the customer finds configurations that look incomplete or incorrect and give the impression the zone is not configured properly. Among them are:
- User-Defined Forms
- User-Defined Files
- User Groups
- User Types
On User-Defined Forms (Configuration > Taleo Recruiting Administration > User-defined Forms)
There are two User-Defined Forms, with code "! Background_Check" and "! Certifications_Bugged" that look out of place on a brand new zone. There are some 30 other User-Defined Forms that literally have the word "CompanyName" in their name and code, like "CompanyName_Cand_Basic_Profile".
On User-Defined Files (Configuration > Taleo Recruiting Administration > User-defined Files)
Although the usual standard User-Defined Files are there and look OK, upon investigation it will become clear that all sections in these files are using the User-Defined Forms described above, instead of the Default Forms expected on a brand new zone.
On User Groups (Configuration > SmartOrg Administration > User Groups)
There are over 30 User Groups all related to Reporting, which is highly unusual, especially on a brand new zone.
On User Types (Configuration > SmartOrg Administration > User Types)
There are over 70 User Types, while you'd expect less than 30 on a brand new zone, and many seem over-specialized, as there are 30 specific Performance Management related User Types that all seem to deal with one individual section of the product.
