Customer Can't Link Facebook Profile To SRM - Window Disappears Without Linking After Login to Profile

The client reports that he is unable to link his Facebook Profile to his SRM Profile and gets no error message.
When clicking Link Facebook Profile to SRM link, the pop up window opens and allows login to the profile desired to link to SRM, but then the window goes away on submit, with no error and the profile is still not linked.
