DELETE Customer Hierarchy Member Using File Import (Doc ID 2043529.1)

Symptoms

When trying to DELETE the customer hierarchy members using the file import feature. Getting errors:
"The value in the column TREE_CODE is invalid. You must enter a valid TREE_CODE from table FND_TREE_VERSION/HZ_IMP_HIERARCHIES_T. (HZ-120736) You cannot delete this record because it does not exist in the registry. Enter a reference to an existing record or a suitable ACTION_CODE. (HZ-120710) You cannot complete the import process because there is an import action mismatch between interface table columns and import process definition. (HZ-120252) Cause: The value in the INSERT_UPDATE_FLAG column of the interface table conflicts with the action determined by the import process. Action: Update the values and try again."
