Unable to add data for long text field through import
Trying to load data in a custom object under Sales, with Long Text field, through import, fails with Completed with errors. However we can add same data on UI directly.
Import activity does not generate error log too.
Import Activity Identifier 300000008670612.
1. The value Kacey) supplied for the attribute ACCOUNT does not match the expected data type oracle.jbo.domain.Number. (MKT-285231) Cause: The user provided a value in an incorrect data type. Action: The user must provide a value of the expected data type. for ACCOUNT
2. The format of the value 08-OCT-14 12.44.33: supplied for the attribute SR_DATE does not match the format dd/MM/yyyy selected in the import activity definition. (MKT-285232) Cause: The date format for the attribute is not in the same format that was selected in the import activity definition. Action
3. For input string: "Scope of Work" for RECORD_ID
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create the import file
2. Go to Setup and Maintenance --> search for the Manage File Import Activities task --> Go to task--> Create a new import activity choosing the import file --> start the import.
