Web Services 2.0 Respond with Different Namespace than Defined in Request and WSDL (Doc ID 2044739.1)

Last updated on JUNE 01, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud Service - Version 2014 R2 to 2014 R2 Update 5 [Release 2014]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using v2.0 SOAP calls, the namespace of the request differs from the namespace of the response. This is not expected and may cause conflicts when using the CPQ Cloud WSDL to define webservice in a 3rd party application.

For example, below are the namespaces defined in the request and the response:

Request: http://xmlns.oracle.com/cpqcloud/commerce/...
Response: http://soap.bigmachines.com
