Attempting to Access Bid Invitation Using Credentials in 'Information to Access Bid' Email Notification, Get Error: 'Invalid User ID or Password' (Doc ID 2046037.1)

When attempting to access Bid record using information in the Bid email notification, the following error occurs.

Invalid Username and Password

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Receive Bid email notification (sample shown below)
  2. Access Bid URL provided in email notification
  3. Attempt to login using credentials provided in Bid email notification

Due to this issue, users cannot access time sensitive Bid records.
