Mandatory fields not marked in Classic UI

On : version, Accounts, Contacts, Households

When attempting to create new Account/Customer,
the following error occurs.

Mandatory star flags do not appear on mandatory fields

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Desktop UI
2.Create Customer
3. 3 custom mandatory fields do not appear marked with the asterisk

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, customer cannot see mandatory fields.
