Amount Calculation Problems When Entering More Than 2 Decimal Places in a BP Quantity Field (Doc ID 2052080.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 04, 2015

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 10.1 and later
Primavera Unifier - Version 10.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a user enters more than 2 decimal places in a BP Quantity field (e.g. Payment Application BP or Change Order BP), the system calculates the expected amount for the line item.
If the creator of the record double clicks on the line item and then hits Ok, Unifier will change the Quantity and Amount fields and will show the incorrect amounts in the line items, in some cases "0".

This only happens during the creation stage.
Users who Approve the same record do not experience this issue.

If creator does not double click on the line item and just sends it for approval, there won’t be any issue.
