"Assigned To" Field Is Empty after Duplicate Recognition Job (Doc ID 2058140.1)

Symptoms

After finding duplicate records from the Duplicate Identification Batch job, customer wanted to assign the potential duplication records to somebody but the ‘Assigned To’ drop-down field is empty. They made sure the person to whom they want to assign the duplicate records has already “Data Steward Manager” role assigned but it didn’t make any difference. It looks there are some additional configurations required to populate the 'Assigned To' field. Can you please tell us what additional steps should be done to have assignees on ‘Assigned To’ field?
