R9 - UPGRADE ISSUE - Lost Functionality on Contact field for Activities
In R8, when choosing a Contact for Interactions, Task and Appointments, we were able to select 'Search' and be directed to a Contact Search Page, listing ONLY the Contacts for that account.
In R9, when we follow the same process, we are now directed to a Contact Search Page that doesn't list any contacts, and requires the user to enter search criteria to find each contact.
We prefer the functionality in R8, in which a user was able to quickly select the contact they needed from a prepopulated Contact Search Page.
We did notice that on the new Activities Page, the Primary Contact drop down list appears to list the Contacts associated with the account at the bottom of the list, with recent contacts at the top. This has proven to be quite confusing for our users who assume that they must search for each of their contacts.
Is this by design? or is it possible for us to change how the drop down list for Primary Contact is populated so that the Account Contacts appear BEFORE the list of Recent Contacts?
Or is it possible to regain the prepopulated Contact Search Page showing all Account Contacts for the user?
