Account/Contact Merge Doesn't Work Correctly (Doc ID 2060626.1)

Goal

On 11.1.9.2.0

The following issues occur:
- on custom fields: if a custom field is set on the account A and not on account B, the merge is not done and, in some cass (when the account B has priority on A) the field remains empty
- on related and child custom objects: the merge doesn't work for both related objects (custom objects) and child objects (custom child objects). If the account A has a related/child object and the account B has 2 related child objects it is expected to find 3 records after the merge. Instead, when A has priority on B, we can find only 1 record, otherwise we can find 2 records.

Questions are:
a) Is there a way to allow users to select a value to maintain for ach field in SUI (as in CRMOD)?
b) how can the merge of child and related objects be achieved?
c) same issues are happening on Contact object as well.
