After Rel 10 Upgrade, Some Links Like "Setup and Maintenance" Are Missing Under Navigator; or Getting 401 Error While Accessing Some Fusion Functions (Doc ID 2061185.1)

Symptoms

  Users with correct roles can not see certain function links (such as: Setup and Maintenance) under navigator, when accessing those functions by direct URL
(i.e. access Setup and Maintenance from login user pull down menu), user will get 401 error.
Or, When searching and opening a task in Setup and Maintenance page, "Go To Task" column is not displayed,  so customer can not really access those tasks.

 

Steps to verify:

1.  login fusion application with an user having Application Implementation Consultant role
this user can not see Setup and Maintenance link under Tools

2.  When the user access Setup and Maintenance from login user pull down menu or access direct URL for Setup and Maintenance
this user will get 401 error

3.  If we manually map the login user to application role ASM_IMPLEMENTATION_MANAGER_DUTY,  the user can see Setup and Maintenance link under Tools.
But when searching and opening any task, Go to task column is missing in the search result section

 

Changes

 Upgraded the environment from Release 9 to Release 10
