Error "Access denied" while using SalesCustomObjectService on a custom object

Symptoms

On : 11.1.9.2.0 version, Sales, Sales Catalog

When attempting to access WS SalesCustomObjectService
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------

 Access denied (oracle.wsm.security.WSFunctionPermission https://xxxx.oraclecloud.com/apps/sales/custExtn/extnService/SalesCustomObjectService#findEntity invoke)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Invoke the web service
2. The error 'Access Denied' is returned

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, the web service could not be accessed.
