Goal

Quota update on hierarchy update

How is quota roll-up affected when a the manager of a user is changed?

For e.g., take the following hierarchy.
-M1
--R1
--R2
-M2
--R3
--R4
Lets assume that R1 and R2 has a quota of 10 each, and R3 and R4 has a quota of 20 each. M1 and M2 has individual quotas of 5 and 10 respectively. Thus, the total quota of M1 = 10+10+5, M2=20+20+10. Lets say R2 has achieved a quota of 6. Now, the achieved quota of M1=0+0+6,M2=0+0+0.
Say, on 1st of this month, R2 is shifted to under M2. Now the hierarchy is as follows.
-M1
--R1
-M2
--R2
--R3
--R4
How will the quota achieved before this month roll-up now? Will the quota of M1=0(M1)+0(R1) or 0(M1)+0(R1)+6(R2), and that of M2=0(M2)+0(R3)+0(R4) or 0(M2)+6(R2)+0(R3)+0(R4)?

Want the quota achieved before change in hierarchy (i.e., historical quota data) to be intact.
