Changing ZCM_ENABLE_STANDALONE_CONTACT Has No Effect in Simplified UI (Doc ID 2069420.1)

Goal

Need to set the Account field mandatory at the creation of an Contact.

Within the Manage Administrator Profile Values task, changing of the ZCM_ENABLE_STANDALONE_CONTACT from default "yes" to "no" is expected to make the Account field on Contact creation page required.
This is working on Desktop UI, but it is not working in Simplified UI
Is this possible by setting the value for ZCM_ENABLE_STANDALONE_CONTACT to "No".
