Custom Help Migration Process Does Not Migrate Data From One Environment To The Other (Doc ID 2069655.1)

Symptoms

You  have created custom Help topics in Source environment example Test and used the Import/Export process defined in the Extensibility Guide to move it to target environment example Production , but after the import ,the custom Help topics do not appear in the target environment.


STEPS
1 - Login into Source environment as a user with Application Help Text Administration duty role
2 – Access Application Help
3 - Create Custom Help Topics
4 – Create and Export Configuration package in Source environment and include the Custom Help Topics


5 - Login into target environment  to import the configuration package created in step 4 above
6 - Navigate - Setup and Maintenance > Manage Export and Import Processes
7 - Process the import by specifying the Configuration package which contains the Custom Help topics
8 - Logout of the application and log back into Target environment.
9 - Navigate > Application Help
  No Custom Help Topics are visible
