Remote Region Error When Creating A New Revenue Scheduling Rule (Deferred Revenue) (Doc ID 2071084.1)

When attempting to Create a new Revenue Scheduling Rule, the following error occurs:

Unable to retrieve content. Additional information for "Remote Region error #7":
An error occurred while invoking task Manage Revenue Scheduling Rules. Review the FunctionalSetupServer logs for more details on this error. Contact your help desk..

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup Task: Manage Revenue Scheduling Rules
2. Create a new Revenue Scheduling Rule
3. Click Done.
4. The new rule seems to be created.
5. Click Save to commit.
6. Error occurs. Rule is NOT saved.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot set up Revenue Scheduling Rules
