ERROR: Test Email Not Sending - "Error occurred while trying to assign Sender Information"

The client is unable to send a test email due to the following error:

"Error occurred while trying to assign Sender Information. Either you have not defined a Sender for this email or the email contains a Signature Layout that has a broken User Field in it (improperly formatted). You may need to re-insert the user fields into your Signature Layout."
