Unable To Open The Document In Document Designer "Internal Server Error" (Doc ID 2075109.1)

When attempting to open a document in Document Designer, either the loading dialog icon spins indefinitely ('clocks'), or it throws an error similar to the below image:

Either way, the document's content cannot be edited in any way.
