Bulk API: Configuring a Bulk API Import Definition for Custom Object Records Without a Unique Field (Doc ID 2079214.1)

Goal

It does not appear possible to use Eloqua's Bulk API 1.0 to configure an import definition for Custom Object records so that it creates new records for every row in the import. This appears to be due to how identifierFieldName is a required field, and will therefore deduplicate the records based on a field. We are unable to not select a unique identifier when using Bulk API 1.0 it appears, even though when manually uploading a list, this seems possible. Is there any way to have the same functionality through the Bulk API?
