Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Social Marketing Cloud Service - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Looking at the Demographics data for Fans, Reach, and Engagement - the totals in the Standard dashboard do not match the totals in the Custom Analytics dashboard. The example below looks at Male vs. Female vs. Unknown gender breakout data. The numbers do not match up.
Example:
PTAT (People Talking About This)Demographics
Standard Dashboard:
Male Fans: 49.2% (15 total)
Female Fans: 50.8% (16 total)

Custom Analytics Dashboard:
Male Fans: 51.43% (18 total)
Female Fans: 48.57% (17 total)

Is there something not lining up with the API in the different dashboards?
