We Can Not Associate Attachments To Records Of Type Sales Custom Object Through File Import. (Doc ID 2081798.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.9.2.0 version, Opportunities

You can not associate attachments to records of type sales custom object through file import.

You trying to associate several attachment to records of type sales custom object.
attachment types: pdf,csv,xls, docx, jpg , among other.
Template in the excel, has these columns:
ObjectKey , RecordName , ATTACHMENT_FILE_NAME , ATTACHMENT_FILE_TITLE , ATTACHMENT_FILE_DESC

'MappingTemplate.jpg'

The "objectkey" is the ID of the record.
The "RecordName" is the name of the record.
"The import activity identifier is: 300000010519951"

You are trying of import/associate four attachment. 


"The problem happens when  trying to attach more than one attachment to a single record".
For example, using the records of the csv file:

ObjectKey , RecordName , ATTACHMENT_FILE_NAME , ATTACHMENT_FILE_TITLE , ATTACHMENT_FILE_DESC

After creating and running an import activity with these records , the status equals to "Completed with errors" and When looking at the attachment in the records from UI, there are no attachment associated it.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup and Maintenance --> Manage File Import Activities --> create a new import activity for the custom object
