Oracle Compute Cloud Service - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
A new feature has been added to the Oracle Cloud Compute Service platform to allow a mutable Identity Domain name in addition to the immutable Identity Domain ID which was specified in the original design. This allows customers to change the display name for their identity domain, though the original immutable ID is still used by the service "under the covers." However, this feature has not been implemented uniformly throughout the Cloud product suite, which means that in some services, the changed name appears, but in others, the original ID still appears instead.
