Symptoms

Users have a couple of Processes scheduled in Scheduled Processes to run every day at 10:00 PM EST. This has been running fine for months. Starting Sunday, November 1st, the job is running at 9:00 PM EST. Another job is scheduled to run at 3:00 AM EST and it is now running at 2:00 AM EST. It appears that either the server time did not adjust to Daylight Saving time or the Fusion Application did not adjust properly.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Scheduled Processes to run every day at 10:00 PM EST.
2. Go through Daylight Saving time.

From the SQL one can find the scheduled used in the job and then find the schedule information in the export.

a. select * from ESS_REQUEST_HISTORY where requestid='47471'
b. exportMetadata (application='HCMEssApp', server='ess_server1',docs='/oracle/apps/ess/custom/**', toLocation='<the location where save those docs>');
