Information in this document applies to any platform.
It is required to implement a Mobile App (MAF) that authenticates users against CRM On Demand and then pass the credentials information to the underlying SOAP WS integrated through the use of MCS Connector.
The Oracle-Mobile-External-Authorization header can be used only for Basic Auth. The value of this header is used to populate the value of the Authorization header sent to the external service. Since UNT policy requires populating the SOAP header in the payload, providing the Oracle-Mobile-External-Authorization header would not work.
If one wants to integrate an application which exposes SOAP Services with WS-Security UNT Policy and want to leverage Mobile Coud Services Connectors, it is needed to be able either to use static authentication for the Web Services or to be able to pass Dynamic Credentials through the Mobile Cloud Services to the underlying SOAP Services.
Mobile Cloud Services allow to do it for Basic Authentication but not for WS-Security.
We need to be able to do it for WS-Seurity as well.
More globally Dynamic Credentials should be possible for all Security Policies.
