Problem Converting Duplicate Leads To Opportunity (Doc ID 2093399.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, Leads, Sales Campaigns

When attempting to convert duplicate leads into opportunity, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
An opportunity with the name " " and this account already exists for the business unit. Enter a unique combination of name, account and business unit


STEPS
-----------------------
1. Log into Fusion Applications
2. Navigate to Leads
3. Edit Lead 1
4. Convert lead1 to opportunity1
5. Edit Lead 2 that has the same name as Lead1 --> see the error
