Symptoms

When importing package in migration center,  uploading a file in File Manager, or uploading a data table in Data Tables, an error shows up:

The file virus scanning is set to active, but the scan service is unavailable.

 

In the error log:

06 Jan 2016 17:29:30,579 [ERROR] com.bm.xchange.ui.migration.PackageUploadServlet.doPost(PackageUploadServlet.java:146) - File upload error.

Step to Reproduce the issue in Migration Center :

  1. Go to Admin > Migration
  2. Select A Mode > Import Package
  3. Browse > Select the file the need to be uploaded

Step to Reproduce the issue in File Manager :

  1. Go to Admin > File Manager
  2. Click Browse under Add Files
  3. Select a file then click Open
  4. Click Add File

Step to Reproduce the issue in Data Tables :

  1. Go to Admin > Data Tables
  2. Click Files > Import
  3. Select a table then click Import
