Symptoms
Reason field is not saved in "Edit Account > Profile" screen - section Addresses from Simplified UI (multiple addresses are enabled).
Reason values are customized using Setup and Maintenance > task "Manage Standard Lookups": search for lookup with Meaning = "Reason Code".
Addresses section is customized using Page Composer: "Do Not Mail" checkbox is missing.
