The Accrual plan balance detail pop-up is displaying the correct accrual balance for employees. The balance field on Plan Participation summary is showing a different, incorrect, value, as of the same balance calculation date.
The issue can be reproduced using the following steps
1. Go to Person Management > Search for the person > Manage Absence Records.
2. Observe that the plan participation summary on 31-Dec-2016 shows a balance of 48 days, which is incorrect. The plan pop-up detail shows a balance of 29 days, which is correct.
